It's beat, message and haunting candid lyrics speak to the everyday Christian who struggles with God's call to share his message of love with the people we are around every day. It's poignant phrase "Why have I never cared?" does not mean that Christian don't care, but rather, as the song says we just don't see. This song is a rhythmical call to every Christian to see the people around them as God sees them: People He created in His image and people He gave His only Son to save.
