Product Description
A new story of common wisdom from the bestselling author of The Traveler's Gift. Orange Beach, Alabama is a simple town filled with simple people. But like all humans on the planet, the good folks of Orange Beach have their share of problems - marriages teetering on the brink of divorce, young adults giving up on life, business people on the verge of bankruptcy, as well as the many other obstacles that life seems to dish out to the masses. Fortunately, when things look the darkest - a mysterious man named Jones has a miraculous way of showing up. An elderly man with white hair, of indiscriminate age and race, wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt and leather flip flops carrying a battered old suitcase, Jones is a unique soul. Communicating what he calls "a little perspective," Jones explains that he has been given a gift of noticing things that others miss. "Your time on this earth is a gift to be used wisely," he says. "Don't squander your words or your thoughts. Consider even the simplest action you take, for your lives matter beyond measure…and they matter forever." Jones speaks to that part in everyone that is yearning to understand why things happen and what we can do about it. Like The Traveler's Gift, The Noticer is a unique narrative is a blend of fiction, allegory, and inspiration. Gifted storyteller Andy Andrews helps us see how becoming a "noticer" just might change a person's life forever.

| Customer Reviews: The Noticer is a must read August 30, 2010 Gospel Chick This book is a must read and a wonderful book club selection. Mr. Jones was one who saw deep into the hearts and souls of man, sent to give them a new perspective on their bleek situations. I have also read "The Traveler's Gift" and would highly recommend it as well.
I purchased this book on my Kindle. It is one that will remain on the top of my list.
It is so true. All we need is a little perspective. This book can change the way you look at your situations.
Some nice messages, but feels "artificial" July 29, 2010 Davender Gupta (Quebec City, Canada) This book was recommended to me by a friend. After the first couple of chapters which have an autobiographical feel, the tone and narrative reminded me of a made-for-TV movie on the Hallmark channel: the dialogue is too stiff and the story feels artificial. However, I was willing to look past this and pick up some nice messages and some quotable lines. The last part of the book offers a set of discussion questions that would be interesting to discuss in a book group with coffee and muffins. One line in the book resonates with me at this time in my life, which I consider as the "return" on my time investment and why I give it three stars instead of two.
This Book Turned my Thinking On July 27, 2010 Becca (Pace, FL United States) While I always could Imagine myself in the descripted scenarios, I seldom thought they could "be true." But what does it matter? The book provided many thought provoking situations for me. I could barely put it aside until I had completed it, and now I am purchasing additional copies for those closest to me. Andy Andrews makes me think in ways I know how to and then again, in new and different ways. A definite winner for me...and a re-read more than once.
The Noticer July 12, 2010 puppetmaster The Noticer by Andy Andrews is a great story, written as an allegory of sorts. The author begins by telling a bit of his own story, how he came from nothing, and how with a bit of perspective, he grew to become a very successful speaker. Of course, as is a work of fiction, Andy took the liberty of introducing the person of Jones into his own life story. It's just Jones, no mister.
Everyone should read this great book! To read the rest of my review of this book or others, go to my book review blog at fablefreak.wordpress.com
The Noticer July 9, 2010 Donna Batt (Fruitland, Idaho) This is a great book that is easy to read, but so much of truth in it to help us realize there are many perceptions of things.
