The subtitle, "A Scientist Presents Evidence for Belief" leads one to infer that Collins provides reason for the mating of science with Bible-believing faith. It is correct that the scientific evidence, when examined unbiasedly and without prior evolutionary suppositions, does offer compelling support for faith. However, Collin's presentation offers no such scientific foundation.
Collins's premise is that one can believe in God and still believe that evolution is a scientific explanation of our origins. Based on Scripture and science, this is an untenable paradigm undermined by innumerable contradictions.

The book that I purchased arrived in great condition. The subject of the book is extremely interesting and the author offers valid facts and observations to support the conclusions that he has related about reconciling faith and science.

This is a great book for those of you who always question about existence of God and His creations. I highly recommend to everyone who has doubts and questions about this life on earth and the creation for human beings. It's really informative and makes you to think about our lives once more.

Francis Collins reviews his path to Faith and explains DNA theory. After reading it, I still feel very uncertain of the details, but that's because I know little about biology. Collins' explanations of Creationism and Intelligent Design clarified those ideas for me. I recommend the book.
